Florida Georgia Line’s Brian Kelley and YOLO Donate Electric Bikes to Walton County (30A) Sheriff’s Office

30A holds a special place in the hearts of Florida Georgia Line’s Brian Kelley and wife Brittney. With a love for Grayton Beach that’s both personal and professional (Tribe Kelley Surf Post is located in the heart of Grayton!), they often look for opportunities to serve the local community. This spirit of giving sparked an idea and a collaboration with YOLO’s Jeff Archer to benefit the Walton County Sheriff’s Department.

15 custom-designed YOLO electric bicycles were donated to Sheriff Michael Atkinson and his deputies to improve their ability to serve and protect residents and visitors along 30A. The strength of the bikes’ pedal assist technology combined with the ease of traveling by bike will allow deputies to better navigate through communities and reach their destinations with greater efficiency.

Recognizing a need beyond the borders of Walton County, the Kelleys and Archer donated an additional 15 electric bikes to the Bay County Sheriff’s Office in neighboring Panama City Beach. Seeing what an impact this gift would have on a county still recovering from 2018’s devastating storm, the decision was an easy one.

“Being able to share this technology and these bikes, we’re thankful for all the hard work they’re putting in to continue to rebuild this county. We love them,” Kelley said.
